Immersive tavern simulation game

Ale & Tale Tavern: First Pints is a free simulation game for PC from developer Scienart Games. This first-person management simulator is set in the Middle Ages wherein players own an old rundown tavern. They'll take on a grand endeavor to restore it to its former glory.

Compared to Farming Simulator 22 or Supermarket Simulator, the fantasy themes and setting in Ale & Tale Tavern: First Pints offer a more immersive and engaging experience. This version serves as a preview of what players can expect from the full Ale & Tavern game when it arrives sometime in Q3 2024.

Taverning and adventuring

Ale & Tale Tavern: First Pints takes place during the Middle Ages wherein you're attempting to restore your ailing tavern to a bustling watering hole where customers can come in, have a drink, and have a great time. It draws from multiple genres to create a diverse and varied gameplay experience to help keep things engaging and fresh as you play.

You can play Solo and Co-op with up to four other players. Get to explore a vast open dynamic fantasy world full of life. Hunt, fish, and scavenge for resources to serve as ingredients for various recipes you'll be cooking for your customers. Build a farm and breed animals to establish a sustainable ecosystem, and decorate your tavern to make it a happy and welcoming place for patrons.

Outside managing your tavern, you can also engage in some adventuring and questing as you meet all kinds of people across the land and help with their problems. You can even fight enemies and monsters using swords and crossbows. As of this writing, though, there is no specific release date for the full game yet, so you'll have to wait for a while longer.

More than a few pints

Overall, Ale & Tale Tavern: First Pints is a great demo of an interesting tavern simulator that offers more than just simple management gameplay. You get to experience living on both sides of the fence, managing a tavern, and becoming a would-be adventurer. Hopefully, more news will become available with regard to its release date soon. Keep this on your radar.
